All good things must end! We announced in 2022 the End of Life of Exprecium d and Decrypta 4, our strictly pstn alarm receivers. Last stock was sold this month and the EOL is now effective.
DT42m is an acceptable replacement for most cases. DT42m is an hybrid receiver compatible with many IP alarm panels and servers. It also has one phone line reserved for Contact ID and SIA. Contact MCDI to know more about the DT42m and what makes it the most universal IP alarm receiver in the market.
After 28 years of making PSTN alarm receivers, MCDI is announcing the End of Life for the last strictly PSTN Decrypta 4 and Exprecium d. The decline of the market for PSTN receiver is one reason to stop this production. The other is the absence of signal integrity we experience worldwide. Nowadays, telephone companies are converting signals to IP to carry them. And de-converting them back at the receiving site. This often result in signal degradation. The lack of signal integrity makes it increasingly difficult for the receivers to perform their tasks.
MCDI will continue to produce DT42m, a hybrid receiver joining the ip capacities of DT42ip to a one-line PSTN circuit for contact ID and PSTN.
MCDI is moving to a new building on April 20th 2022.

MCDI developed an Ajax plugin for two-way integration for the SECURITHOR Alarm Response Software.
MCDI, combined Ajax Translator and Enterprise API to deliver a dedicated plugin that manages security and monitors Ajax systems‘ alarms, including visual verification of alarms, security mode switching and relay control. The Ajax plugin is available for SECURITHOR Alarm Response Software, version 2.60 and higher. Check with our sales and support staff for availability and compatibility.
Beyond alarm monitoring
SECURITHOR presents a complete dashboard to operators handling alarm signals along with steps and contacts to process each event. The app automates several tasks like sending emails, SMS and reports to subscribers. With such features, SECURITHOR gained popularity among CMS/ARCs in APAC, Italy, North America, LATAM, and Ukraine.
An Ajax plugin
To make it easy for everyone to use Ukrainian products, MCDI made an effort to establish an even more convenient tool for Ajax integration with their software.
Securithor and DT42 IP alarm receivers were already able to get alarm signals from Ajax security systems. And with a free AJAX plugin, the SECURITHOR operators can now view images transmitted by MotionCam detectors by simply clicking a button associated with the alarm event. Plus all operators of the SECURITHOR 2.60 Network Edition can control Ajax hubs remotely. Arming, Disarming, Night Mode and even relay activation are available directly in Securithor Alarm Processing tickets.
Contact MCDI to add this plugin to your SECURITHOR license or to know how you can get it with your SECURITHOR update.
